Bordi (Dahanu)

Bordi (Dahanu) is famous for its vast,  wide and tidy almost virgin beaches. Dahanu is popular for  huge chikoo fruit orchids. Dahanu comes under Thane District of Maharashtra and is about 145 km away from Mumbai.

Bordi is half-hours drive away from Dahanu, famous for pristine beaches. Although, it is quite warm during summer, the gentle breeze cools down the entire beach. It is a religious place for Zoroastrians, which houses the sacred fire of the Zoroastrians. It is supposed that this fire has been kept alive for almost a thousand years. The existence of Iranian and Persian culture further makes this place more exotic.

Reaching Bordi (Dahanu)
Dahanu Road is the nearest railhead, which is just 2 and 1/2 hours from  Mumbai. By road, Mumbai is 145 kms away.
